Ingrid has done freelance design and illustration for numerous commercial clients and private individuals, designing everything from marketing materials to tattoo designs to portraits. Her commercial clients have included the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Huskies Restaurant and Bar (Storrs, CT), the International Peace Games Festival, and Uncle Margaret’s (Northampton, MA). As the Vice President of Research at Market Street Research in Northampton, Massachusetts, Ingrid brings a strong understanding of marketing and brand identity to her design work for commercial clients.
She attended the University of Connecticut, where she wrote and illustrated a daily comic strip, Present Company, for the UConn Daily Campus. She received the Daily Campus Cartoonist’s Award for the comic strip, and in 1995 graduated with an individualized degree in Art and Human Expression.
Ingrid’s background is in scientific illustration. In Connecticut, she was employed as a scientific illustrator for the Thames Valley Science Center. Her scientific illustrations have appeared in Clinical Immunology and have been displayed at the Connecticut Museum of Natural History.
